The firm has significant experience with the various international mining and natural resource development frameworks promoting sustainable and environmentally sound mine development.

We have also worked extensively with our mining clients to develope re-mining, closure and mine redevelopment strategies designed to create attractive post-mining land uses.

Mark Semenoff acts currently as legal advisor to the Afghanistan Ministry of Mines on the public tender of a world class copper deposit located in Logar Province. In addition, Mark is heading up the World Bank funded effort to develop comprehensive mining regulations for the Afghanistan Ministry of Mines.
