FCC Auction 73 (700 MHz spectrum) is scheduled to begin on January 24, 2008. Simon Semenoff is advising entities and groups that plan to bid at Auction 73. The 700 MHz band of spectrum is highly coveted because it is one of the most cost effective frequencies over which to provide wireless broadband services due to its superior propagation attributes.
